female newbie needs help, overheating RESOLVED

Don't let it go to your head though....lol
PS - A quick reply back here once sorted would be cool!
I agreed with jagtastic early-on for a tank change......but when the thread took a turn toward tooling purchases, I say never waste a repair on tools you can buy with pocket-change and not need spouse-approval!
Besides, she's going to need the camera anyway to find 11 yrs ' worth of treasure hiding alongside the center console.
Norri!

you guys are funny! No, no extra tools or cameras, my little guy was sick so I had mommy duties. and FYI it wasn't as easy as letting my 10 year old do it LOL I had to fight the hose off, probably should have just sliced it off.
considering I'm the second owner and the previous was a 70+ year old women nah I dont need the camera.
ok so I picked up the new thermostat yesterday, and I need to start on that so I have that taken care of before the new tank comes, any advice?

I too have been having similar issues... Its not the fan; its not the water pump; we changed the thermostat and bled the system. But my 2001 S Type V8 still overheats and dumps out the antifreeze I put in. Sometimes it overheats after a five minute drive sometimes not at all, but when I take it out at lunch time by the time I get out of work there's a pool of coolant stretching from the front driver's side all the way back....
