Feedback on first 2000mls with new car £1500 2003 S-type 4.2:

Money spent: 50 euros on air filter and new engine oil; £10.75 for new 2nd key blade ready cut.

MPG: autoroute 35; N roads 31; running around 25;

Breakdowns: Problem with weak battery - overnight charge seems to have sorted it but replacement will happen very soon.

Costs in next month; New battery approx 100€; 2 x rear tyres 160€; replace autobox fluid 100€.


Overall summary:

Absolutely delighted with car - aircon works great, especially importantant now that the weather is averaging 27°!!

Comfortable, stable, safe, very quick when required and impressive.

Nice, thanks for the info, but just want to make sure, those are British gallons not American ones, right?
