Michael, my cat did that at the track where I woul have traction and then lose it off launch, and then finally lose it again around 4k rpm where it would just "float", and then eventually shift into second. This is because my tire is spinning and the tranny up shifts to find traction. So in your case I would assume you are losing traction as well.

Mike, I had the same issue prior to trans. rebuild. Re-flash the TCM. If this doesn't cause it to shift properly, then likely an internal trans./trq. converter issue.

Default Let's meet up and go racing.

Anyone interested in going drag racing next Friday night? If so, let me know if you'd like to meet at a track in the Maryland/DC/Virginia region.

Capitol Raceway: $20, 4:30-11pm

Maryland International Raceway: $20, 6:30-11:30pm

Ceicil Dragway: $15, 5-10:30 pm

Digging up the dead but with an et of 12.9 @4140lbs that puts your car at about 440 at the crank, not bad.
