Default Flywheel Question?

Just getting a little info. to verify something my mechanic had said.

I had the rear main seal replaced for a medium sized leak on my 03 v8. He told me that the flywheel has to go back in a specific position according the original factory specs.

Does this sound right? If so, any idea how to make sure this was done correctly?

Any info or thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Got ya... That's what the mechanic called it.

I'm still new to the world of Jaguar and have never had to mess with a flex plate/flywheel on any of my other cars so please enlighten me.

Theres a drift/roll pin to put back in the same spot. So its a non-issue
