Default front coil springs

I called to have my front end aligned on an 03 s type and the dealer said inside tire wear is probably caused by weak coil springs causing bad camber.
Has anyone had this problem. Also how difficult is it to replace the springs. It looks like the are attached to and part of the shock. Thanks for your help, DonR

Go somewhere else if they said that they are clueless.

Get a second opinion before you do anything. We have never had this reported on this list.

Front inside tire wear is well known issue here. There is too much toe-out condition on your car. Per Brutal's suggestion, you need to have the toe adjusted to maximum toe-in that the alignment spec allows. Search the archive for more detail discussion and you will find wealth of information on this topic.

Very good point and be sure to use the correct alignment numbers because they did change from when the car first came out.
