dlnga thanks for organising this. Based on their other products a full set of reflectors will be:

Reflectors - $180
Shipping - $68 (seems the only viable shipping option)
Smoked lenses - £$10

Total of $258, or £157. I'll have a think, but will more than likely go for it as I can sell the set of reflectors I'd already bought to pay for it..!

I'll post over at the UK forum to drum up some more interest.

Are you saying you can't find them on Klearz.com site? If so, that's because they haven't made any yet. They will create the mold and then produce the lenses once there is enough interest in the product.

no i thought an earlier poster said they saw them on the barret site....side note, i run an injection molding plant for a living, i have 4-5 reflector tools, we make those safety triangles that trucks put out when they break down....anyway the tooling expense for a new part is thousands of dollars, i really cant see what 15 guaranteed sales does to justify that type of expenditure... i have one mold that produces 45,000 reflectors a day.....their offer doesn't add up for me?

Woeowowo that is expensive! A can of Night shades, clear coat, and sandpaper shouldn't be more than $25 to $30. All you need is a few hours over the course of a weekend and that's it. If you dont sand and polish it correctly, it can look really bad, but if I can do it right so can everyone else. Use the search function and look for my how to guide.

That's a question that you would need to ask Tina St-Jean <info@klearz.com>; You have the knowledge of how these things are produced and I wouldn't mind hearing what their answer would be. Not that I doubt them, its just you've raised a point that I would never have thought about. Drop her an email and see what she says...Thanks...

Going by the sign up sheet for the group buy, looks like we're running out of steam...I imagine Klearz.com will leave it up for awhile and once we have the required number of buyers they'll start production...might be a bit of a wait at this rate...but I'll go the distance for now...

Don't even worry about that. Not necessarily dead in the water yet. Just going to see what happens. In the meantime, I've already ordered the amber and red replacement lenses and bought all the stuff to do it myself and see how that goes...Pretty sure I'll be buying a couple of sets until I get it right. Just a little OCD here, factor in ADHD and I can get "laser focused" on projects.

I just submitted the 10th interest submission on their website and made the 5th down payment; so I take it they should be green lighting the project. This company sold me a set of clear lenses for a Porsche 944 Turbo back in 2007 and they totally transformed the look of the car.

ssshield, no problem glad your car already has this great product available! The site showed 9 when I submitted my downpayment as well, it also says it could take up to 48 hours for the list to be updated so I imagine my name will appear within the next few days. (fingers crossed)

Well, I hope you folks manage to get this off the ground. My car is sold now so I won't be completing, so I guess they'll be keeping my deposit...! Look forward to seeing a pic in the future.

I have a full set of reflectors on eBay if anyone is contemplating the DIY route.

I had an email yesterday informing about this group buy progress and requesting a set of OEM reflectors to be sent in to help manufacture - my set of reflectors on eBay then sold this morning.

Possibly a coincidence, but if someone in this group buy has just bought my set of reflectors to fulfil this purpose, let me know today so I can save you some postage by posting direct.....

Thinking the silver housings and 5% smoked lenses will fits the STR best as stock headlights and taillights used silver/chrome colored internals and slightly darker/smoked lens then non R models.
