Default Fun Projects

Hello,

I'd like to keep my S-Type for a long time and I'd like to improve the car in any way I can (looks and performance).

My favorite additions that I have made to the car are the Mina Gallery Upper and Lower Mesh Grilles, Front European-Style License Plate, and a small powered subwoofer. These are what I would call the more "fun" projects, but I'm also interested in making the car more reliable.

I purchased a new metal shifter pin to replace the plastic one and I plan on replacing the timing tensioner chains soon.

What are some more projects that I could take on to improve the looks, reliability, or performance of the car?

Thanks!

Suspension items are likely all in poor shape.

If you suffer rust, treat it with anti-rust.

Check trunk doesn't leak (water), ditto windshield/cowl.

Replace lug nuts if you plan ever to let anyone with air tools near them.

Chase, I say go for the chrome headlight bezels, chrome tail light bezels and side marker bezels as well! The Stainless B pillar covers are a nice choice too!

I have noticed a bit of noise when I hit bumps in the road. Where do you recommend to start with the suspension? I have seen a well-made YouTube video on the subject, but I don't have a lift to get under the car and test everything that the mechanic did.

I don't have any leaks on the car, so that's good.

I have a bit of rust inside the gas cover. Nothing visible from the outside, but I'm tired of the grinding noise when I open the cover. I'll look into the anti-rust.

Thanks man!

Thanks for the recommendation! I have considered the tail light bezels.
