I'm preparing to join the ranks of Jag owners this Friday with the purchase of a 2008 S-Type. One owner, 3.0 with 35k miles. Please tell me I am not making a mistake and maybe what to look out for.
I'm a long time Saab owner (900, 9000Aero and 9-3) who is used to spending cash to maintain his car, but since the total demise of Saab, had to go somewhere else to get the same level of trim and not have to settle for an asian vehicle. I'm also getting older and I'm looking for a bit more comfortable ride. Did I make a wise choice?

You made the right choice. I had a Saab 9000 Aero for 11 years, stage 5 upgrade to 360 HP, loved the car but was uneasy about Saab's future.

Never thought it would be so, but from the day the Jag arrived I have hardly given a thought to the Saab.
