On my 02 Jaguar S type, my interior lights will not turn off. I have to pull the fuse just to get them off, which its irritating to not have light.

From what I understand its the GEM module. Can anyone tell me where thats located? Or if it could be anything else.
I appreciate any help!

 

The (GEM) GENERAL ELECTRONICS MODULE module, and all the other modules can be located with a glance at the FRONT MATTERS section of the electrical guide.
(PAGE 22 or PAGE 23)

 

More likley to be either the drivers or pasenger door open switch.

When looking for this fault you need to know that the switches are a switched earth.
Also the lights use a switched earth.
The +12v is on all the time it is the earth that is switched.
