Default Gold S-Type: Spoiler and Grille Accessory Kits?

Hi,

On the fence about adding two items and curious to get some feedback.

First - am 50/50 on whether or not I should add a rear deck lid spoiler. I think it would look good on most other color cars like black and silver, just not sure about gold. (see rear image of car)

Second - purchased a black grille with body color surround from Jaguar Accessory brochure. Also 50/50 on whether I should put the chrome one back on. Again, curious on your feedback (see image with black grille)

Regards,

One quick thing to mention to my above post -- the mirror covers are chrome.

Thanks,

Me likey, go for it. IMHO, change out the mirror covers to body color also. I'm not a fan of chrome.
Further, (if you want) have the chrome bumper blades painted also.

Thanks Jayt2,

Appreciate the feedback -- never thought of also changing out the mirror covers. Good idea.

I actually did change out the bumper blades to body colored one's . You can see it in the rear view, but not so much on the front view due to sun's reflection.

Regards,

Oppps, you're right. My excuse is my eyes were a bit tired, just got back from a 27 hour 520 mile round trip visiting my son in Bullhead City AZ.
Looks good..

That looks clean! I agree with paint matching mirrors.

I say go for the spoiler. They are not very large but do add a nice bit of accent to the rear. I could go either way on the grille being chrome or black, black looks fine in your pic, so go with whichever you like the best.

Overall that's a nice looking ride!

Ya I really think these cars need some kind of spoiler, as the rear truck just kinda looks/ends in a weird way.

Default Almost concours ready

Thanks for the feedback. Looking at other S-type images - am growing more and more to like the spoiler. Planning to add.

Cars almost read to show. Planning to soon replace the Tritan wheels with new Vulcan's -- I like these much better - much sportier.

GENUINE JAGUAR PARTS / ACCESSORIES ADDED:
  • Jaguar Coachline Kit (two-tone Copper & Gold from XJ Series III)
  • Premium Carpet Matt set (Mocha)
Regards
