Default Got her waxed...(non-Brazilian)

Had her clay-barred and waxed...Yes, I know the front license plate holes are there...Can't seem to find anyone who will fill and paint for a reasonable cost.

Looks great man...I know a detailer in Alanta's buckhead area that does those specialty waxes. He even has a couple of rare waxes from Zymol that go for over $250.00, just for the wax in the bottle. Where are you located in Georgia?...I'm in the Atlanta area.

Thanks...Awesome, yet I'm a bargain hunter...If you know anyone who can paint the front bumper on the cheap I could be interested...I'm 100 miles south of the Atl, Macon/Robins AFB area...

I wish my STR was that clean! I hang my head in shame at how dirty mine is right now. Winter time and water on the road make for a messy car!

How long does it take you to clay the whole car? I have done bits and pieces before but kind of gave out before getting the entire car done.

She looks like butter. Lots of fun Huh. I clay bar and waxed my XJ8 last spring then used Meguires 3 step process and a pure carnuba wax on top of that.

Took 9 hours total.

I'll look around my garage. I think I still have my front plate mount from when I had mine. I also had that same front plate with the leaper. If I dig up the mount and you need it I'll send it to you if the shipping isnt to bad. You will probably just have to get new rivets since I drilled them out.

As being a bargain hunter I took a risk and "hired" a college student off craigslist...Claimed he'd detail the car using mother's claybar, mothers carnuba and mothers leather conditioner for $100...The wash, clay and wax was exactly 9 hours...I gave him a big tip as neither one of us knew it would take that long.

I greatly appreciate that, but I did find mine...Yet now I'm missing the screws...I recommend holding on to yours, state laws can change or you could find a better opportunity in a different state which requires a front plate...

P.S. I'm still hoping to find someone to cheaply fill and paint...

Next time you condition the interior, Go to a tack shop. they will have the finest leather cleaners and conditioners you can get. Thats where I got black leather polish and conditioner for my car. It makes the leather supple and smells fantastic. The polish holds up pretty good.

I will not be drilling through my freshly painted holes filled bumper. LOL. If I end up somewhere with a front plate I will fab up something else to mount it or get that plate mount that hides it under the bumper then flips it out when driving.
