A little shop in Belmont, NC had a Dyno day today, 3 runs for $35, so I figured it was a perfect opportunity to get a baseline on the STR. Weather was perfect for an STR, 47 degrees and a light rain falling.. I've come to realize that the cooler it is the more power these cars make, but I didn't realize just how big a difference there would be until I saw my numbers!

The shop does mostly ricers so no one there had ever seen or heard of an STR. But they were definitely impressed.. Heck, I was only expecting about 325 HP

tbone, holy s..t! yer STR is puttin out the text book numbers for a stock STR (Not to start a war here so i don't want to hear s$%t about the K&N a/f may have let 5 ponies into the corral). Those numbers R for a perfectly runnin out of the box STR motor. If yas remember out late buddy Riski's stock 03 STR numbers...they were nearly identical. Now you go out and mod that b&*#c bro. Monday I get back my 03 with: full exhaust mod, 3 lb pulley, low temp. thermo., Mafioso air intake elbow, NGK plugs, throttle body coolant line by-pass, and K&N drop in a/f. I love it when we all git excited about dyno numbers....
