Guidance Please: Cooling System, A Bit of Coolant Loss
Hello Everyone,
It has been quite a long time since I've been on the board, and would like to seek guidance from the well informed.
I have a 2005 S Type, 4.2 L, 57k on the clock.
About a month ago, got the "Engine Coolant Low" and refilled it. Going up a hill two weeks later, got the same message. Filled it. There are no signs of leaks around the expansion tank or hoses, nothing in the driveway, and no oil discoloration.
A week ago, had the dreaded "one side hot/one side cold" AC problem, but now is just blowing hot. The temp gauge is just slightly above the halfway point (really have to look closely to see it).
I know that I'll probably have to replace a condenser, that weird little valve with the AC, but am wondering if the two problems could be related, and how much I might expect to spend at an independent service bay.
Checked all the threads and noticed its a problem with 00-03s, but did not see a whole lot on 04 - on.
Thank you so much, everyone!

RE: Guidance Please: Cooling System, A Bit of Coolant Loss
Thank you, Stefan. I found out that I'd purchased an extended warranty where I purchased the car (bought used, and had a Daimler-Chrysler warranty). Hoping that the local Jag dealer will agree to the terms and get the girl running again!
