Hi all,

Now that I've overcome my EML and Failsafe problems, I think it's time I cracked on with the rest of it.

My handbrake light does not work when the handbrake is on. It comes on when I turn the ignition on, but doesn't come on with the handbrake. It used to (every now and then) but now it's just given up.

I'm assuming there is a microswitch or something under the gaitor so I wondered how I might get the gaitor off?

In the meantime, it is not just the gaitor you take out. You have to lift the whole upper center console. Just grab it and pull up with the armrest open.
