Hard water spots
I had a white car since I moved to Florida and never noticed but now with this beauty dark Indigo Metallic the water here leaves nasty water spots. I did notice there are some car wash products that claim to eliminate them. Instead of trying them all it makes sense to ask
.. thanks

Sometimes it's the process that causes these water spots. The key is to wash the car in sections, getting the water and soap on and off quickly and wiping the panels reasonably dry before moving on to the next section. Then a final thorough wipedown with a big, soft, ancient cotton towel after all washing has taken place. We are on well water here and it is also considered "hard". I found that when I changed my washing process to the above description, I no longer had to deal with water spotting on the black Jeep Cherokee I had at the time (my one and only black vehicle - never again)....
