Hello all. My son wanted a Jag as his first car so we did some research and looked at lots of cars. Not many in good shape or even running in his price range but finally got lucky and picked up a 97 XJ6 from Arizona in terrific shape and rust free with 135k miles. Looks, runs and sounds great. Should be a great car to teach the boy how to "turn some wrenches" on his own car.

Your son shows remarkably good taste for one so young.

Welcome to the forum rfxj6,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Mid West Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-mid-west-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.

The X300 is Metric.

There are some Torx items here and there.
