2000 XJR 117,000 miles mechanic owned turn key car, $5000
Back when I was a full time dealer I sold this XJR to a good friend of mine who is a Mercedes & BMW certified mechanic. It had 99,000 miles on it at the time, 2 years later it has 117,000 miles on it. He traded me for another vehicle, so I get the chance to sell it again.
The best thing about this car is all the big jobs have been done. In 2006 With 71,000 miles it had the head gaskets replaced due to coolant getting in the combustion chamber. So the heads were machines, gaskets replaced (obviously) and all the timing chain tensioners and water pump/thermostat were replaced as a preventative. This was performed by the Jaguar dealer. Ignition coils were replaced in 2011. Brake pads and a transmission service at 98,000 miles in 2013
In the last few years the car has been well kept up. 4 new tires, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, coolant hoses, supercharger gaskets, brake lamp stop switch, Bosch reman starter, and a headliner. I am going to replace the throttle body with a rebuilt unit as soon as it comes in. The throttle position sensor will occasionally throw a code on a cold start. Unfortunately you can't buy just the sensor which is why I'm replacing the entire throttle body.
Absolutely no leaks or mechanical issues. All electrical items are working except the keyless entry (not the fob battery) and the power antenna does not fully extend or retract. (Only moves 8 inches or so). Cold air, hot heat, 6 disc changer works, and all that jazz.
Overall in nice cosmetic condition. Clean inside and out. I've photographed the few dings and scratches the car has, but it really presents itself very well. Interior is clean, seats and center arm rest have surface cracking but no tears. The wood is in excellent shape.
I'm looking for a quick sale to get it out of my driveway, which is why I'm only pricing it at $5000 firm. Fly in a drive it anywhere. Thanks for looking.

Tyler is legit. I know him from other forums (mercedes) where he has sold many a good car...would be tempting if my '05 xj8 wasn't getting 30mpg on the interstate

Rebuilt throttle body is on. Car seems to pull harder than it used to with the cleaner throttle body and adjusted throttle cable. Good to go.
I'm putting it on craigslist today. Needs to get out of the driveway. Bottom dollar is $4500.

Really need to get a few cars out of the driveway. Bad timing as nobody has money this time of year. Final price drop of $4000. If no bites in the next few weeks, I'll wait until tax return time and sell it quickly for $5000.
