well had a bulb go out, went and bought another one, got the bumper off and the assemblys out and put in the new bulb and still doesnt work, switched everything over to the other headlight and it worked there (relays, fuses, bulb and ballast) any other ideas to check

 

can the assebly itself be the cause switched the entire assebly over and the drivers side didnt work on the passenger while the passenger side worked on the drivers side

also the ballast is the black piece that goes on the back of the bulb correct
