Default Headlight lens melted

UPDATE: I discovered the drivers side parking light did not light up, then upon returning the stock side indicator lamps , suddenly that same parking light started to work.. I figure the after market LED side indicator lamps had influenced the main headlights
I also saw the upper indicator lights on the main lenses started to haze, again connected obviously with these side indicators. I'm not sure of the wiring setup here, and this is anecdotal, perhaps someone can prove the main headlights are linked to these side indicator lights somehow.

Saw this morning and orange haze on the centre of the drivers side headlight lens, see pic .
The headlight is now uneven in this orange area, that is it's melted to a degree . Car hasn't been out with headlights on for 2 weeks, but the auto headlight has been engaged , so perhaps they have popped on at sometime .
I haven't changed the headlights bulbs, nor polished them.
However, I did install LED side markers 2 months ago . That's the only alteration I've done to the electrical lights system..
Has anyone had any experience with the cause of this melted headlight situation?
I will be putting back the stock side marker lights, however I want to find the cause of this directly.

Regards
Peter
