Default Headlight Lens Restorer

I just wanted to mention that I used Turtle Wax Restorer on my badly oxidized '07 headlights and am very pleased with the results!

Does that include a UV protective coating? Many restorers look great for awhile until the sunlight and such makes them fade even quicker because you just buffed off the factory applied UV coating.

Unless sealed I find this only a temporary fix , any bodyshop will be able to restore these professionally lasting anywhere from 5 to 10yrs

Good and important question Cee Jay. Yes, the final step in the process is the application of a UV protective coating. This should help keep them looking good for awhile, it remains to be seen for how long!

Here's another thing for you though...
The inside projector lenses on your car are foggy. Those can also be cleaned to crystal clarity using a good cleaner and some long and large cotton swabs by going through the bulb area in the rear.

There is at least one thread in here somewhere on what people did to clean the projectors if you want to search for it.

My left side was replaced due to some clot backing into it four years ago. The RS side is original with no fading at all.
