a p1647 is for bank2 left hand can anyone tell me if it,s the upstream or downstream oxygen sensor. Thank for your response. stype 2004

Solution is JTIS or codes PDF free download which gives all known causes as well as upstream

(Search probably says it, too. But workshop manual is better.)

Whatever you do, don't fit the wrong kind of sensor!!
