Help, 2001 S-type 4.0 engine rough idle
Just bought this car, and it runs great on the highway, but idles rough and at low speeds. Brought it to a shop, they decided that I needed a fuel injector replaced. Once they replaced that it is running smoother but still missing and not running correctly. Had it tested at autozone...plugs 6 and 8 were misfiring. so I had all the plugs changed. The car is still missing and when in park it wont go any higher than 3000 rpms while hitting the accelerator.

Ok replaced 6-8 coils, still has a miss. Took the car to firestone for diagnostics.....paid them 100 bucks and this is teh codesPO307 PO308 AND PO358......THEY WANTED TO CHARGE 85 DOLLARS AN HOUR TOM DO MORE TEST. ANY THOUGHTS?

Yes. Replace all the coils as advised. Early 3.0 coils were nasty. You replace one coil and the next day another is misfiring. I always recommend doingthem all. Also you want to make sure you got no vacuum leaks under the intake.
