I have a 2005 SType 4.2. The AC has been working good for last 2 summers. When I got the car it only blew hot air. I put a new DCCV and a control mod in the car. This fixed it and it worked great. A few weeks ago it started blowing warm then cold. I topped it off with freon.

It seems to be getting worse it blows warm most of the time but every now and then it kicks in and blow cold....it is really cold when it does blow. But only last a little bit, then it is warm for a while.

Could this be a sensor? If so which one and where is it located?

Thanks...I love the care but it has been having alot of problem as of late.

Another problem is the electronic parking brake fails about once a week or two. I have to disconne t battery and reconnect then all is fine for awhile.


I wonder if the battery itself has anything to do with these problems? It is the original battery but it is never draggy or seems weak.
