Help, can't turn off the rear lights on 2000 s type

Wife drove vehicle to the store, when she returned home all rear lights stayed on. Brake lights work when pedal pressed. I checked fuses and can't find one that would cause this problem. So I unhooked the battery to prevent it from draining. Help anyone in Atl?

Don't remember running across that one...I'm east of Atlanta, and know of at least ONE independent shop that could have helped (if it weren't the auto lamp assembly).
