hi there ive bought an s type 2.7 diesel, it will not fire up atall, if i throw easy start it will run but as soon as i stop it will cut out, engine sounds brilliant.
what can it be, ive pulled out trouble codes which i cannot find but i remember it was telling me that fuel rail pressure variation other one was glowplug circuit.

 

Glow plugs wouldn't make it cut out once running, they might make it hard to start in cold weather though.

Try changing the fuel filter, making sure to prime the new one properly first.
It's a cheap option and can cause issues if it is slowing down the fuel flow.

Other than that I would look at getting the injectors and fuel pump checked out.

 

Could be a real money pit to sort out a high tech car like that if you don't know what you're doing and/or don't have the full dealer diag kit.
