is there is any way to change the setting for the interior lights to come on when you pull the key from the ignition? every other vehicle I have been in when you pull the key the lights come on. it seems pointless for the lights to turn on when you open a door because when you need to make sure you have everything you have to sit there with the door open. if there is a way to set it so they go on when you pull key please let me know and I will be forever in your debt. thank you

 

I don't think that's a programmable feature. You could hit the door lock/unlock once parked as that will affect the interior lights, but as far as programming them to come on with the removal of the key your best bet would be to contact your local dealer.
