Good morning,

I have kind of a strange problem that popped up. I'm getting a high pitched squeel coming from that throttle body area. I took the scoop off and checked the rubber seal on the throttle body assembly tightened up all components and no help. Any ideas?


2004 S type r 4.2l

 

had this problem on a semi truck and it turned out to be a hose with pin hole in it. Don't know if this is your problem but worth a look. Changing vac hoses is reasonably inexspensive.

 

Are you sure it's from that area?

Maybe remove both drive belts and just make sure it's not coming from there?
