I just purchased a 2005 S-Type and for the life of me I cannot find the hood release. All videos I've found of Jaguars show it to be at the bottom left corner (northwest of the brake) but it's not there in my car. I've looked all around the interior and I still can't find it. Could someone please tell me where it is? Thank you!

 

It's a lever that is by the door on my car in the black part of the dash. You have to put your fingers in and pull it up. You could download a copy of the handbook.

And we should add "below dash by the driver's door" whether LHD or RHD. I believe that is correct for all of us whether driving on the "wrong" side of the road . . . and therefore from the "wrong" seat. (tongue in cheek).
