Hi all SDD Users

I have my VCM. I have IDS version 127 which seems to only want to run SDD instead of IDS. That's OK, I can read diagnostics from a 2007 S-Type fine.
I want to change the radio market region from Japan to Aus. ( The normal trick of pressing Eject + AM/FM doesn't work after MY2006.)
I can't find a way to do this through SDD. The program seems only interested in finding DTCs of which there are none. Can anyone help ?

All the paperwork I have, says the CD Eject and AM/FM button should put the audio unit in setup mode so button "0" could change the region setting. Even for 2007 and 2008. If that won't work, you'll probably have to use SDD to reconfigure the Audio Unit as "New" and set the region that way.

Would you happen to know how to change the radio region on a 2008 XK?

I had my US spec car shipped here to Europe and I can't get the even decimal stations

Ooooooo! Ouch! Sorry, the only way to change the market spec on that car is to replace the audio unit with a European part and then change it back. I guess you could have one installed over there and then sell it once you are back in the States.

Not exactly the answer you were hoping for, I'm sure.
