How to make S-type sound better
Welcome to the Forums.
When time permits please do an intro in the "New Members Area"..
Not knowing where you call home, I will generalise.
Muffler, resonator swap out, elimination, etc is usually the first go to.
Your legal persons will dictate what, if anything, can be done and still kep them away.
Both mine are quiet, I dont mind, but when pushed hard, the exhausts do have a certain "crackle" to them, which I like.

>Im looking for a cheap option.
Then I would suggest starting by removing the rear resonators. Your local garage can certainly do that by replacing them with sections of straight exhaust pipe. It shouldn't effect your emissions measurements since the O2 sensors are upstream with the mufflers.
Start with that and if you don't like the sound put them back on.
Simple, cheap

It's up to you but I find the 6 cylinder to sound lame. The V-8 has a great sound.
I would unbolt the mufflers as that is easy to do. Then drive it a bit to make sure you are getting what you think you are getting!
