So it is bugging me that the climate control display is brighter at night than the radio display (I don't have touchscreen sat nav). I can see that it is not the backlighting, but rather the contrast of the LCD elements.
Is there a way to adjust the contrast of the LCD elements of the radio?

Dash backlite can be adjusted but not climate control nor radio.

 

Not even a little trimpot if I remove the component?
