Wise Choice,......I think the is some thick BS going on....I contacted http://finelineimports.net/ and talked with the tuner, and he said they have bought the Jaguar tuning software and can Dyno tune them, just wants the ECU serial number and model to verify it......So I will get that to him as soon as I have time and see what they can do.....They Dyno tuned a 98 XJR, but want to make sure they can do the newer model Jags....

That is good news for me (2001 XJR), but they are in CA. I would need a new pair of tires after the ride to and from:icon There is also a place in MA that does BMW, Mercedes, Audi and more Euro cars. I am waiting on a reply from them about my transmission reprogram.

TheTransporter:
Thanks for the link but I have already found that. It is NOT a dyno chart. It is a number printed on a page. No way to tell where it came from and how they got there??

Yep, I'm holding off on Euro Tek. I'm thankful fellow forum members were my "checks and balances" before I was to committ to a product that only makes claims but has nothing to back them up then regretting my decision.

Does EuroToys have a verifiable STR ECU tune?

Default Tuning Party

There's a used performance car sales and repair outfit near me in Poughkeepsie, NY. Their name is LOCOMOTION. I know of a tuning party they had for BMW. I'll stop in and inquire.

Default Euro Teks STR dyno charts

Out of curiosity I e-mailed Phil asking if he has dyno charts for the STR Stage 1 kit. His reply was "I have them laying around somewhere here. I'll try to dig em up cause their kind of old." One need not guess that you all firmly believe this was one of the lamest reply for a call of official data? Let's see what he digs up...perhaps we'll laugh harder?

Outstanding. I am seeing real progress on the tune here! Now, if we can get the same movement on the header front, I'll be good!

Default Broadway Performance

While you two were sleeping then showering together in the wee hours of the morning, I was on the telly with John of Broadway Performance, Passaic, NJ (check his website). He said he pulleyed and tuned STR's through the OBDll port. He does a pre and post dyno run to prove gains. His dyno will be in action in three weeks. In the meantime he uses a dyno five miles from his shop. He sounded motivated so I informed him that if what he says comes true at an affordable price I have a lot of duded waiting in line for the same.

I'll let yas know what I dig up on this. I may visit his shop which is about 45 minutes from my office.

Shame on yas...and this was a "Don't ask don't tell forum?
