Idler Pulley Help
Ok guys, I'm back to working on this jag and ran into yet another problem. I need to install the idler pulley on the passenger side above the alternator. I'm guessing the moron who ripped me off didn't give me all the parts nd that JTIS program is really no help. I have the pulley but I'm gueesing I don't have the correct bolt. There is no bolt with small enough threads to screw in but a big enough shaft to center the pulley. Can anyone help me out and tell me what I'm missing?
Thanks!
Ryan

That sounds more like the tensioner pulley and idler pulley on alternator bracket. That is why I am so lost over this one, this is the idler pulley that mounts to the timing chain cover. There is no pilot, just a machine finish. Also, the bolt goes through the timing cover and screws into the head. This is one of the last things I have to do and it is being a pain in the a$$!

Has anyone replaced one lately and remebers what was needed? A special bolt maybe? I am lost on this, I can't find any listing for a special bolt, I have looked at the JTIS program, alldata, and mitchell on demand and all of them just say "Install idler pulley, torque to ..."
Oh, and IDK if it helps but I did find out that it is referred to as the upper idler pulley.
