Question Ignition Switch

I've searched but didn't find an answer. Does anyone know if the ignition switch from a Lincoln will fit the S Type? I have a 2001 S Type. 3.0. The cylinder is fine but the switch is getting real loose. HELP!!!!

I have two links for the ignition switch parts for both cars below.

Both give an enlarged picture of the ignition switch. But it is too difficult to say if they are the same part from the picture. However, both give their respective part numbers.

The links are from partsgeek and it would be worthwhile if you telephone with part numbers, and ask them to check, given the price difference.

Jaguar S Type Ignition Switch - Electronic Ignition Switch - Genuine - 2000 2001 2002 00 01 02 - PartsGeek.com

Lincoln LS Ignition Switch - Electronic Ignition Switch - Standard Motor Products - 06 05 04 03 - PartsGeek.com

If you do find they are the same part. Post this information and others will thank you.

Thanks very much. I will check that out. Major difference in price! $122 Vs $42.
