Ignition Switch problem

Ignition Switch problem
I have an '03 S-type and the ignition switch has fallen back into the dashboard. I don't know how this could have happened.
Any thoughts on how to remedy this? Can this be fixed without taking off the surrounding trim?

No such luck I'm Afraid the knee panel mist come off. Make sure you disconnect the battery asap and fix it there are a couple of high current wires that feed into the back of the tumbler

Do you have the JTIS any diy subcriptions to alldata, Mitchell etc?
I've never taken mine apart so I'm not 100% sure you can improvise and get on your back and start taking out screws and bolts
