Smile Impressive Dealer Service

Two days ago, the check engine light popped on on the Jag. My wife had also remarked that she felt the transmission was doing strange things, and, the rear electric sunshade was stuck down. The dealer worked me in this morning and sent me home in their shuttle. When the shuttle took me back this evening - the service manager indicated that they had fixed the CE light (spark was over-advancing), updated all the software in the ECM and TCM, and fixed the sunshade. When they brought the car around, it had been washed and cleaned inside as well. I drove it home - its seems to run better than ever, shifts much smoother, and the sunshade works perfect . Cost to me was $0 - got to love the select edition warranty.

You didn't mention that the shuttle bus stopped and waited at Waffle House and bought you breakfast too!

Great to hear another praise for Jaguar Service.... My dealer is wonderful as well. They are just human and have missed stuff, but when they do they don't hide behind excuses and do everything to make it right. Always nice and polite. They have repeatedly fixed stuff that should not be covered under warranty. My only expense with them to date is 40 bucks to change out the wiper blades....... Great folks...Always have a loaner ready for me.. Including renting a car from Enterprise when they just happened to be out of loaners. And that is for single day service when I work less than 6 miles from the dealer..

I have to praise Momentum Jaguar in Houston. I had several cosmetic things done which I don't think would have been covered with any other brand? A new headliner, new underhood pad, new flip up ash tray, two "R" side badges. It was all very minor things. A small wrinkle in the headliner, the badges were peeling slightly around the edges, Hood pad shrunk and pulled loose slightly.

They give a free rental car-you pay the gas. Car is always brought to me at the service door cleaned inside and out, running with the A/C on max, the radio off.

Had one slight clunk in the rear suspension. The service guy claims he could not feel it. When I picked up the car they called the guy and had him ride with me so I could point out the noise. Of course I couldn't get it to make the noise!! Still feel it once in a while but it's very subtle. Had a very knowledgeable service advisor named Jay M. First time I went in I had several TSB's with me to back up the items I wanted fixed. He knew about several already!
