First service scheduled for next week...
Got an email from my originating dealer so I called and set up an appointment for next week, she told me it'd take 3-4 hours so I told her I needed a loaner and she said no problem.
She was kinda fighting me on the car not having at least 5k miles and at first suggested I wait until next month but then relented when I told her I'd only have an additional 200-300 miles in a month.
I have not yet checked my oil via the dash computer to see if it's used any and really am rather relived to have that break-in oil and metal particles out of the engine.
I also mentioned to her about the fuel-fill problem and she said she wasn't aware of the issue but would make a note for the service advisor. Does anyone know if there is an actual TSB on this...?

It appears my servicing dealership is overly diligent in scheduling that first service appointment, I was asked to schedule 9 months in advance upon my first "unscheduled" visit.
I currently have an appointment set for February 23rd, 2016. Exactly one year to the day of ownership.

To my knowledge, no TSB yet. Just because there is no TSB out yet for a given issue doesn't preclude you from getting it fixed. In my case it was determined to be a bad pressure sensor for the vapor recovery system that is integrated into the fuel filler insert behind the fuel access door. Not a single premature nozzle shutoff since the repair. I believe the resolution for others has been the same.

It would be a bummer to miss out on the free service due to scheduling issues.

I am taking mine in for the 1st oil change at 2K miles just can't go 16K on a brand new engine, yes I am old school and probably wasting our oil resources but have a trip coming up and want the break in oil out of the motor. Also hopefully they will sort out the clunk in the trunk when I turn right up into a driveway and again document the stereo issue.

I took delivery of my car Sept. 2014. My dealer performed the 16,000 mile service oil change at 4,644 miles in Apr. 2015 and did other minor service repairs. The car’s build date was Oct. 2013 and the service paperwork says delivery date Jan. 2014, which is probably when the car was added to the dealer’s stock. Regardless I wasn’t going to argue getting the oil changed sooner rather than later.

4-hour oil change complete...!
Well left my house in Marina @ 8:20 for a 10am appointment in San Jose and I arrived exactly @ 10...the traffic was freaking impossible.
Dropped the keys with Eric with the odo sitting at 3,601.
I mentioned to him the fuel fill issue (as well as provided him a copy of our thread) and while he was aware of the issue, all they could do was note it at this time and frankly, if a TBS comes out on that, I'll have the service done at my local dealer and save the 148 mile round trip. Eric recently came from Mercedes and he said many of their models have the same issues...remember guys, in CA it's way worse.
They didn't have a loaner available at that time so they drove me a block away to Hertz where they provided me a new Camaro convertible with 366 miles on it...what a POS!
The brake pedal went nearly to the floor at a stop, the tranny when using the paddles felt like an old Power Glide "slush box" as we'd call them, with a nice solid "clunk" when it down shifted into 1st...and the A-pillars looked about 10" wide.
Yards and yards of cheap, cheesy looking black plastic...really makes you appreciate the Jag.
I drove it to get lunch and by then, I couldn't wait to get out of it.
So I got 1 C2D3670 oil filter and 8 06333W Castrol Edge SPT oil and the brakes all check out at 8mm, tires are 7/32".
Eric did offer to have the service tech go to the gas station with me but I had 3/4 of a tank and at 2:20, I was kinda looking needing to get back home...so I declined.
Now I can feel good about having that break-in oil out at 3600 miles and with it all fresh & topped off, I can start throwing some serious revs at it.

Took mine in last Wednesday for its 1st early service and to diagnoses a clunk in the rear when turning right up a drive way and again the stereo (they have already replaced both sub-woofers). They replaced the amplifier and one rear strut unfortunately they damaged the new strut and had to order a new, so cars been their 7 days. Not holding my breath on the amplifier resolving the issues but their is always hope. Very satisfied with service from my dealer.
