Default Induction Pipes Cleaning and Porting

I was lucky to find a low milage TB, Elbow and top alloy inlet pipe for the right price on E*ay and knowing how much the TB is from Jaguar bought as a spare ( £75 the lot compared to £400 plus from Jaguar)
I noticed though thatt from the airfilter through to the TB there were loads of areas that could be improved from an airflow point of view First been where the hard plastic tube has the rubber connecting seal attached Great gobs of sealer inside the pipe easily removed with a sharp knife but also the to induction pipe outlet diameter does not match the TB and at the worst point is 5mm smaller in diameter!! Even the rubber seal bebefited from a quick trim. With all the time and effort we spend trying to improve our cars this seems like a nice cheap and easy improvement. I doubt it will make any noticeable difference to performance but physiologically it works wonders

Before

Red line matches the TB inlet

Thanks for pointing out a very important area to open up and smooth out. How long did it take to grind?

Only an hours or so work I was really surprised at how much could be removed I'm going to play with the spare inlet pipe and spend a little more time opening up as much ad possible
