First of all I do not think a hot air intake like this can give any benefits, so better to get the original back and maybe place a higher flow filter in it. But still I doubt you will feel any difference, but al least with the original box you have a little ram air effect.

Besides that, what worries me with that setup is the MAF sensor, as that one is very sensitive, and the readings will be affected if the outer tube is only slightly different from the original. This can be outright dangerous, as the mixture could be very lean.

If you still want to continue with this setup, better to have your mixture checked to be sure (on a dyno),chances are itwill be off being it either too rich or too lean.

Last but not least, I am not able to see where the engine breather pipe goes now, how is that one connected?

this is my frst car & i dont know much about cars 2 begin with so please bare with me lol ....i dont know where the breather pipe is or what it looks like so maybe you will be able 2 see in this pic......im not looking for 2 much performance i just love the sound it makes compared 2 the old stock
