I posted about a month ago. Have a 2002 Jaguar S. It was not starting, occasionally. Put in the key, turn...nothing. No clicking, no cranking, dead silent. Everything was lit up fine, dash, radio...but wouldn't start. Sometimes I would wait to try it again (of course, after I called the tow truck) and it would magically start. I spent $600 bucks recently to get the neutral safety switch replaced. And it was fine...until a few days ago and wouldn't start again!! Suggestions on what it could be...?! Getting really frustrated...and broke!

 

How old is the battery?

Also I have read that the ignition switch is a weak point. I will see if I can find the threads.
