Default Jaguar S Type 3 litre V6 2004 - Fault Code p1532

Hi All,
I have the above fault code on my jag and it's been off the road since August last year. It blew a head gasket, but I have since had the engine replaced with a good second hand engine. The fault code reads "Data stored in Flight Recorder - p1532 or p1582", I can't remember now. The car starts and drives fine, but goes into "limp mode" after 200 yards. Please can someone help me? I'm on my knees. I've been without a car for almost a year now!

To access the data in the "flight recorder" you need dealer level diagnostic hardware/software. A regular consumer grade code reader is not going to do the trick. There also must be something more than the single code detailed above. Please run a new scan and give us the full story.

Make sure before conducting any further diagnosis or tests that the battery if fully charged. Use a voltmeter to read the available voltage across the battery terminals with the ignition in the OFF position. There should be a minimum of 12.6 volts showing for all the modules to function correctly.
