I recently had the amber engine light come on and the fault code came up as P0045 which is "major leak detected" but it runs fine. The mechanic I took it to deleted the code and said it was probably that the gas cap wasn't on tight enough. It stayed off for about 1 week but has now come back on with the same fault code....Has anyone had this happen? If so what causes this? Thank you...
