Default jaguar s-type wont start after unhooking radio

Hey guys,

Today I tried installing the parrot 9000 in my s-type 2004 (with satnav). I unhooked my radio and connected the parrot using an iso2car cable. When I tested it my touchscreen didnt work. Because it was getting late I decided to disconnect the parrot and connect all the cables again.

The touchscreen still didnt work and the car wouldnt start anymore. It doenst lock manually or with the remote.

So could someone help me getting the car started.

Thank you

RDJEE

Battery might be dead from the sounds of it.

Does the engine spin when you twist the key to START, or does the starter not even engage?

Goodmorning GT42R,

The starter will not engage. After that the security light starts blinking.

Default Security

May B battery, but likely ECU sensed a breach in security, locking down ignition. Enter stereo security code.

Hey guys,

I got a load of errors that all disappeared after charging the battery.
In the parrot online manual ( http://www.unitedradio.com/docs/MKI9...user-guide.pdf) it says that if a certain wire is connected to a constant 12v supply it could drain the battery so it's
Likely that thats what's happened.

Could anyone give me some advice on the parrot install because I think if I just plug it in using the iso2car cable the same thing will happen.
