Greetings,

I'm new in the family and I'm a noob. I just bought Jaguar S-Type V6 2004 having 42K miles on it. Where I can find guides/service manuals or any stuff like that?

What things should I consider to make my car running and maintained. Thanks for all your help.

Best Regards,
Rizwan

Rizwan, welcome fellow S Type owner....

Consider changing the cabin air/pollen filter (read the FAQ section above) more than likely the IMT O-Rings will be in need of repalcement (again in the FAQ section above) and anything else you need to know is located in the FAQ section above!

Other than your owners manual, there is the JTIS available on ebay for $10.00 and www.alldatadiy.com for roughly $27.00 a year.

Good luck and we will be here to help you answer any questions.

Thanks Eric and Rick,

Thanks a lot for your information. Regarding knowledge of Cars and Maintenance, I'm NOOB but I've loved Jags for Long and finally I got it. I'll try my best to learn things. I probably can fix small things myself by reading some service and repair manual(s).

Can you guys suggest if this guide http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jagua...ht_2258wt_1510 would be a good buy?

What things periodically need to be checked, Engine Oil, other fluids? How to know when Air Filter and Oil Filters need to be replaced?

Once again, thanks a lot for your help.

Best Regards,
Rizwan

Hahah Sure, I would do if it was a computer software. I'm good at those... but for cars I'll take time to be geek ...

Damn, just noticed that you are in Texas. I miss the Lone Star State and the damned spicy Tex-Mex *sigh*. Canadians don't know spice.
