Default KEY FOB Part and fcc #'s

Have a 02 s-type and both keys were lost/stolen. Found new ones on ebay but i did read that you need to know part and FCC #'s. From what i read this info is on the back of the FOB. Anyone know how else to get this info?

Without any keys at all you will need to have a dealer pair your keys to the car.

You need the dealer or a locksmith that can program jaguar keys . Thay will plug in a diognostic unit in to the cars obd2 port , and if they type in a dealer code it will tell them the key code ! They can determine the key no from the key cut code ! How ever it will not tell you the MHz of the transponder ! But fear not if you get the correct key and the MHz are rong thay can be easily changed !
Hold down both the lock and unlock button on the key fob
And press the boot/ trunk poper button 3 times
Then release the lock and unlock button!
That will switch it from 434mhz to 315mhz and vice versa .
Once you have the right key with the right MHz it then can be paired
With the car
Cheers
