Hello everyone.. First post! Just picked up a 2008 S-type and I am having problems with the key fob range. I have two keys + valet and both fobs act the same way. I have put new batteries in them both, cleaned contacts and get them to work from 2-3 feet. I have to have the key fob on the driver side glass for it to lock, unlock and pop trunk. If I back up 2 feet, it won't work. The battery is showing 3V and it works flawlessly when seated in the car (does no good for me!)

I am assuming the antenna for the Keyless Entry is under the driver side dash somewhere.

Does anyone know how I can check the connect on the antenna? I am still in warranty, but I am curious if anyone has experienced this before.

The antenna for the remote fob is in the driver door module. If you're in warranty, better let the dealer take care of it.
