Key Fob Question

Key Fob Question
I just had a new fob programmed by a local locksmith and paid a lot less than going to the dealer. Ok, YEA! Now for a stupid question. I don't want to mess around with it so I figure someone here must know the answer. How do I open the fob to change the battery when it needs it? Also if the batter goes dead can I still start my car with the key just the same? Anyone with an answer I am totally grateful. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There is a brilliant YouTube vid that has been id'd and linked on these forums ad nauseum ... not to mention that the "key fob battery change" is also detailed in the car's Owner's Manual (page in the low 30s, I think). Use Search tool provided by Forum with appropriate terms to locate and view ... yes, I could link it, but you will benefit from learning to use the Forum's tools, methinks.
It's a simple but good owner maintenance task. Once done ... never forgotten.
Good luck,
Ken
