Key Fobs

I am trying to replace my mother's 2004 Jaguar S-Type key fob. I purchased the exact same fob from online but now need to program it. I have seen several suggestions but have still not got it to work. Any one know how to do it?

you have to get it programmed at the dealer on Stypes, there is NO back door on Stypes[:@], we've tried trust me

NO, THERES BACK DOOR ON ALL LATER MODELS IE 95 AND UP, BUT NEVER CAN YOU DO STYPES

I just had 2 key fobs cut & programmed by my local dealer Friday. B*stards took me for $210 to cut & program.
I shopped around & nobody except Jaguar does this. Unfortuntley the next nearest dealer is 92 miles away & they wanted $200 too.
