Hey guys. Keep in mind I am still new to this community, sobare with me on my stupid questions. Like I said,I have a 2001 Jaguar s-type. I was wondering what yougives think of lambo doorson a s-type. If anyone has them,can you show pics.I am seriously considering them.

Please don'treply saying things like "if your car rolls over you will have a hard time getting out" or "don't waste your money" after all, we all do have different tastes in mods.

 

its a little much for me taste wise, and prob could cost $5k easy. there is usually much bodywork involved besides just switching the hinges.

 

You'll be doing 4 doors. If you only do the front you'll look pretty silly.

And with 4 doors you're looking at a giant cost and a lot of electrical issues in the front doors. Others who have done it complain of erratic electrics. Waste your money all you want, but rememebr that when you do it and drop say $5k+ into it that the value of the car does BELOW what a stock car is worth. You will be very hard pressed to find a person willing to buy the car.

That being said, some baller will come along eventually and pay you little for it but by then the car will be older, having issues and not really a nightmare the baller would be down with considering he could get an XF by then with lambo doors....

 

I've seen pics with just the front doors done...kinda cool, but I think they look better on a 2 door vehicle.
