Default LED lights installed on STR

So I added these to the car. They are from a friend of mine. They are pretty bright actually but not too much. Somewhat visable during the day too.

i put them in this position for a reason, it is where the rubber is surrounding the actual light. These are super thin lights. ahhh crap the third one is sideways. oh well you get the idea

i dont take that stuff personally, its all good. I dont think they look too bad, but i dont think they look like they belong there either.

they are not permanent at all. It was a little long to put on the GTI. Plus i have different headlights in that car that has running led's already.

since they are universal and bendable i threw them on there to see how they work and get an idea of the light output from them.

Firstly, thanks Jason for sharing the pics. I was surprised to see you placed the LED lights in that manner. They look very unique no doubt, but did you try to experiment how they would look if you had placed them somehow in that small vent just below the Fog lights? I know you would have to construct a backing plate for it to happen, but I think in my opinion that it would look much better there instead.

Take Care,

Terek.

Hey, I've been thinking about doing something with LED in my car... Where did you get yours?
